Careful selection of metalizing paints is required during this process since high temperatures will affect the diffusion of metals that can degrade metallization adhesion strength at operating temperatures above 1100°C. In a hermetic braze application, careful selection of the right paint and braze alloy can make the difference between a successful bond and one that will suffer early failure via vacuum leaks or adhesion failure. Elcon manufactures custom paints with a 25-year history of reliably performing at elevated temperatures. Our unique capabilities allow us to turn around high-quality, leak-free parts both quickly and affordably for clients around the world.
