Elcon Precision provides unparalleled manufacturing capabilities for products photoetched from Molybdenum. Molybdenum, or moly, has an extremely high melting point of 2,623 °C as well as one of the lowest coefficients of thermal expansion among commonly used metals. Due to these unique properties, it is used frequently to join metal to ceramic.
At Elcon, our expert technicians and extensive experience allow us to provide unique solutions to our clients. We can manufacture special ductile Molybdenum as well as achieve high purity and DFARS compliant Moly. Our machines can produce parts from sheets up to 12X22 inches and 0.002 to 0.040 inch in thickness. By combining CNC machining and photo etching, we are able to produce parts from up to 2mm thick sheets.
